Multi-angle Lights (Ring / Square): CA-DR-M / CA-DQ-M Series
Combines the principals of ring, dome and low angle light sources into one
Ideal on targets with changes in height needing multi angle
diffused or low angle lighting.
Example: Inside of a plastic cap
With standard lighting:
LED refl ection / imprint is seen by camera. |

With multi-angle light
[Ring]:
Multi angle diffused light is radiated around the inner surface to give uniform illumination. |

Spot Lights: CA-DP Series
LED Spot lights save on space, fi ber distance and provide lighting to a specifi ed point / area.
When spot illumination is used in combination with the coaxial macro lens, coaxial illumination of a target can be achieved at high magnifi cation.
Example: Registration marks
With standard lighting:
As specular and diffuse light components are received together, there is little difference in contrast between the background and registration mark. |

With spot illumination:
When spot lighting is used in conjunction with the macro lens only specular refl ected light is allowed to pass into the camera via the lens. |

Square Lights (Direct): CA-DQ Series
The square lights are made up of four bars lights, which can be individually controlled and positioned.
Illumination of a target can be freely controlled, by changing the angle and choosing which sides of the target should be lit.

For transparent, highly reflective, or plated surface
Lighting Technique Using a Bar-light
The bar-light illuminator applies uniform light on long targets.
Applying the light from an angle creates diffuse reflection,
enabling easy differentiation. If the surface is very glossy,
a polarizing filter is recommended.

Coaxial Vertical Light: CA-DX Series
Enhances the Edge of Imprinting Against a Reflective Surface
For highly reflective, plated or dented flat surfaces
Lighting Technique Ssing a Coaxial Vertical-light
The coaxial vertical illuminator applies light on the same axis as the lens. The contrast between dark and bright parts is captured and differentiated by allowing the reflected light from the glossy surface into the camera, while blocking the diffuse light at the edge of the imprint.
Example: Imprint on metal / Deformed surfaces

The Coaxial light intensifies the flat package surface while making the dent appear darker. |
Low-angle Light: CA-DL Series
Sharpens the Contrast of Edges and Uneven Surfaces
Used for transparent targets or on low contrast surfaces.

The low-angle illuminator allows differentiation by applying light at an angle onto the edge of the surface.

Lighting Technique Using a Dome-light
The dome-light illuminator casts indirect light from various directions. Since soft diffuse light can be applied uniformly over a target with an irregular shape, the surface condition can be kept uniform, making contrast of inspection points clear.
Example: Print on Foil / Hole on a Curved Surface

The backlight illuminator silhouettes the shape of the target using
the light passing through the target.

General-purpose Lighting for Various Applications
Used to produce clear images with stable illumination on a variety of target shapes. The circularly arranged LEDs provide equal lighting suitable for many applications.

The short wave length characteristics of blue LED light make them an ideal choice for high precision dimensional measurements and other demanding applications.
Inverted High-frequency Light
These fluorescent illuminators use an inverter method and are excellent for image processing.
The large ring light provides optimal lighting for large-sized targets.
